Signed enamel dial, blued-steel hands. 45 mm diameter, 8.5 mm deep, not including centre arbor.<\/p>\n<p>Joseph Penlington, St George&#8217;s Crescent North, one of Liverpool\u2019s premier watch and chronometer making firms of the period.<\/p>\n<p>Lacking seconds hand, dial with hair cracks and balance staff pivot broken. Otherwise an interesting example of this famous maker&#8217;s output.
