Silver body and decorative wirework bale hallmarked Birmingham 1897, makers cameo mark S.A (possibly Single Arnold – see Culme). Glazed compass with revolving pointer and hand painted compass points on both sides. 15 mm diameter, 25 mm tall and 7 mm deep.
Not cleaned by me but in good original condition apart from a small piece of the silver edge lacking, the glasses with almost no scratches and with little of the usual interior dust, the compass working correctly. NB: The two glasses are specially drilled on the inside, in which the compass points rotate, so it is not possible to exchange them for new ones if damaged.
