Best quality two-piece off-white hard enamel dial signed WILLIS on the rear. Around 42.5 mm in diameter and 10 mm between the centre and seconds holes.
T J Willis, 19 River St, Myddleton Square, London ‘established 1787,’ the justly famous maker of the finest English hard enamel dials used by just about all the top English watchmaking firms.
NB: This dial was made without dial feet and they were intended to be fitted into metal rims that snapped-on to the Golay frames of the period. Dial feet can always be added of course. I have a number of this exact size dial in stock if wanted.
